Piper Maddox has been engaged on a new search for an Assistant Controller/Senior Accountant, with a very exciting start-up company in renewable energy.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in their Lower Manhattan office. This comes with a market-leading compensation package to include equity. This is a fantastic opportunity with excellent growth potential.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting responsibilities, to include - AP, AR, Payroll, Bank reconciliations, month end close, general ledger, annual audit.
Financial analysis and reporting - cash flow, balance sheet, income statement, variance analysis
Monthly cash flow and budgeting
FP&A support
Cross collaboration with multiple teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
CPA
5+ years experience in accounting
Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
NetSuite experience desired
