Junior Estimator - Solar

Location: Remote (East Coast: 9am - 6pm | West Coast: 7am - 4pm)

Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 + up to 10% Bonus + Unlimited PTO + Benefits

Are you an ambitious professional ready to make your mark in the dynamic world of solar energy? Piper Maddox is partnered with an Solar Developer who are expanding their team, renowned for its innovative approach and stellar reputation in the DG space since 2020. They are now looking for a Junior Estimator to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed contract reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform take-offs and prepare bids for various projects.
  • Manage the sending and receiving of bids for RFPs.
  • Compare pricing from typical EPC Contractors to ensure competitive offers.
  • Create accurate budgets and bids for early-stage projects.
  • Utilize Excel to develop comprehensive project budgets.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 1-3 years in estimation, preferably with a background in residential solar, commercial rooftops or utility-scale solar projects.
  • Skills: Proficient in contract reviews, take-offs, and budget creation using Excel.
  • Passion: A desire to grow and succeed in the renewable energy sector.
