Piper Maddox have recently been engaged by a market leading provider of Clean Technology with a focus on Renewable Energy production.

Together, we are building out their RNG (Renewable Natural Gas) Business Development team.

In this role, we are searching for a Director of Sales / Director of Business Development to join the group. This is a true “hunter” position, focusing on developing new accounts & expanding into new areas of existing clients.

You will be tasked with developing and executing new sales strategies and account management. Specifically looking to expand into new business verticals including, Landfill, BioGas, Wastewater, C+I (Commercial & Industrial) and Oil & Gas.

The ideal person for this role will have a background similar to the below:

  • A strong and proven track record working in a Sales/ Business Development function.
  • Extensive experience working within one of the following industries: Solar Power, Wind Power, Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), Landfill, BioGas, Wastewater, Oil & Gas.
  • Long history of working with the technical product teams whilst on Sales pitches.

With multiple of grid connections in their pipelines, and multiple NSIPs in various phases of development, it is a hugely exciting time for the team.This company has put together a strong team of renewable energy professionals in the development, planning, design, grid, and engineering spaces. They are now looking to add to their in house capabilities with someone to focus on the whole project development life-cycle from initiation through to RtB.2023 was a massive year for this company, they celebrated some massive project milestones and are on a huge upwards trajectory to expand further - hence the need for this position.Your role would be centralized around being hands on with the whole development life-cycle for renewable energy developments. You would also be responsible for engaging with landowners and managing the development process on land issues; managing and mitigating project risks and schedules; site surveys and communicating progress to all stakeholders. International Business Development Manager
