This is one of the leading players in residential solar, having been founded in 2009, and they've been picking up their market activity exponentially over the last few years.


With over $1BB of capital raised already, and an established $150MM tax-equity fund, and 170MW of operational assets spanning across 26 different states, they have positioned themselves quite competitively for the next decade. They are also actively engaging in a number of long-term partnership discussions with Fortune 500 organizations, from both an asset and software perspective, so their capabilities are definitely multi-faceted beyond simply homeowner energy production.


They are looking for a VP/Director of Capital Markets to act as the deal-lead for the organization, manage the origination, execution, and management of tax-equity financings in order to underwrite their project pipeline effectively, and deepen the relationships with these financiers further, to ensure long term partnerships are in place.


The ideal candidate would have:

• At least 8 years of professional experience within the context of renewable energy project finance

• Expert level financial modelling ability, specifically within the context of tax-equity

• Direct experience negotiating tax-equity transactions, and at least 1 successfully closed deal

Director of Development- NYISO

I've partnered with a developer of brownfield battery storage projects seeking a Development Director. The Director of Development will lead the development of a diverse, robust pipeline of utility-scale brownfield Battery Energy Storage projects. They will work with the development team members and other disciplines across the company to ensure projects are hitting key milestones towards a successful completion. Seeking candidates who can: • Develop a pipeline of brownfield Battery Energy Storage• Lead diligence activities including vetting projects for environmental, financial, interconnection, permitting, and technical constraints.• Negotiate with vendors to complete various, development related scopes of work.• Negotiate permits, tax and other project related agreements.• Communicate effectively with vendors, project partners and other stakeholders.• Prioritize work to meet project deadlines, budgets and goals.• Professionally represent the organization to various parties including landowners, vendors, local officials and other stakeholders.• Reporting to management as required.• Ability to travel to various project sites in the Northeast U.S. This is a fully remote role requriing the candidate to travel on site when needed. Piper Maddox is partnered with a Global Independent Power Producer on the search for a Director of Construction with Utility-Scale Solar Experience above 50MW+. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure successful project execution and adherence to company standards. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Strategic Direction and Operations: Plan and direct day-to-day operations and strategic direction of utility-scale solar construction programs. Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to creating and maintaining best-in-class policies and procedures. Supply Chain Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships within the supply chain. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a team of professionals across multiple projects. Project Oversight: Provide guidance and project leadership to ensure projects meet or exceed company expectations. Vendor Management: Direct external vendors including General Contractors, design teams, and suppliers. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain high-value relationships critical to project success. Contract Administration: Develop and execute effective contract administration procedures, including contract generation, review, and monitoring.
