Principal Responsibilities:

  • Owner for commercialization process owner for approved new investments & sources (for hydrogen, with support for helium)
  • Strategy development and management for liquid and tube trailer hydrogen business, and support in conjunction with the Global Helium team for both liquid and gas helium
  • Profit performance of H2 & He product lines
  • Monitors, challenges and identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Product pricing strategy development and targets to feed Markets Customer Performance Review process
  • Provide, business development support via pricing guidance/deal involvement for He & H2 accounts both liquid and gas as per DOA
  • Support & some management of the competitor interface for helium agreements (primarily on the sales side)
  • Development and management of hydrogen sourcing via purchases vs. investments
  • Development and support of tools including, for availability and profitability review of sales opportunity, and pricing next best option
  • Cost recovery initiatives (e.g., surcharges, outage surcharges etc.) by establishing program and providing tools.
  • Key participant of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Process; provide pertinent guidance to Supply to maximize P&L.
  • Leads development of the annual budget and product plan coordinating inputs of Markets, Application Development, and Supply, for the hydrogen business. Supporting role for helium.
  • Lead policy development for crisis management, surcharges for fuel, power cost, outages , and regulatory cost recovery,
  • Identifies profitable opportunities for product purchases, trading and joint investment.
  • Monitors competitor activity and identifies competitor strategies (share, power zones, cost positions).

Deliverables:

  • Robustly and clearly articulates strategies.
  • Capacity plan in line with market requirements
  • Well-developed recommendations for new investment business cases
  • Successful commercialization of new investment & sources (mainly hydrogen)
  • Updated tools to support the Markets organization in pricing.
  • Guidance and insight for Markets business development as per the DOA
  • A meaningful S&OP output.
  • Updated policies for force majeure, product allocation, outage cost recovery, and regulatory compliance cost
  • Achievement of the US He & Hydrogen Gross Profit
  • Other duties as assigned.
