I have been engaged by global Solar EPC firm on the search for a Lead Electrical Engineer. Ranked in the top 25 of Solar EPCs in the US, over past 10 years they have built distributed generation and utility-scale projects totaling 3GW.

 

You will be:

  • Develop detailed electrical design deliverables for solar (PV) panels, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive one-line drawings, collection system layouts, power cable sizing, cable schedules, equipment sizing, and more.
  • Implement rigorous QA/QC processes to uphold project standards, while also mentoring and guiding junior engineers to enhance their professional growth.
  • Develop applications for the interconnection of utility-scale solar projects to the utility grid, ensuring compliance with regulations and efficient integration.
  • Contribute to the early stages of project development by developing conceptual designs to determine the capacity of prospective solar energy sites.
  • Generate solar designs for commercial/industrial small-scale sites, including ground-mounted installations, parking canopies, and multi-building complexes with rooftop solar applications.

 

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ Years Engineering Experience
  • Utility Solar Design Experience
