Job Title: Construction Manager - Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)Location: Flexible within Germany, with regular travel and occasional office presence (approx. twice a month).Salary: Up To €85,000 (DOE) + 13th-month bonus + company carAbout the Company:Our client is an internationally oriented, dynamically growing renewable energy company with headquarters in Germany. For over 15 years, they have been at the forefront of the industry, contributing just under 5 GW of renewable energy to the grid worldwide, with more than 3.5 GW under their own operations. They are active in over 23 countries, managing large-scale projects across Europe, Asia, and beyond.The Role:As a Construction Manager for the BESS team, you will oversee the end-to-end execution of battery storage system projects in the megawatt range. Your role will involve coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety compliance across multiple sites in Germany.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate all subcontractors and trades from delivery to commissioning stages.Take ownership of the BESS system on-site during construction.Lead project-specific site meetings both in person and virtually.Prepare and deliver progress reports, including daily or weekly updates as required.Oversee quality control, materials acceptance, and on-site inspections.Enforce health and safety requirements on-site.Act as the liaison between engineering teams and on-site staff.Manage and distribute execution plans, acceptance protocols, and completion checklists.Supervise final works post-commissioning.About You:Experience: Minimum of 3 years in construction management or a similar technical role, with a hands-on approach to project execution.Education: Degree or vocational training in Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar fields.
