This role will focus on building strategic partnerships, identifying market opportunities, and expanding our client base in the rapidly evolving energy sector.Key Responsibilities:Identify and engage with potential clients, including utilities, energy traders, and industrial customers, to present and sell cutting-edge energy management software.Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive sales growth and market penetration.Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs and market trends.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and network with potential clients.Provide regular sales forecasts, market feedback, and competitive insights to the leadership team.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to effectively position the company's software solutions.Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the energy, software, or technology sectors.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strong understanding of energy markets, trading, and digital solutions for energy management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.Willingness to travel as needed.Piper Maddox is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
