Position: Landscape & Environmental Planner (m/f/d)
Location: Frankfurt am Main | Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Work
A well-established international solar energy company is expanding its team in Germany and seeking a Landscape & Environmental Planner to support the development of open-space photovoltaic systems.
In this role, you will contribute to GIS-based site analyses, coordinate environmental assessments, and work closely with planning authorities and external consultants to support project feasibility and permitting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct white area and potential site analyses using GIS (QGIS preferred)
Assess planning and environmental constraints in early-stage solar projects
Coordinate and review expert environmental reports
Serve as a liaison with environmental authorities and consultants
Support cross-functional teams in project development
Requirements:
Degree in landscape planning, landscape architecture, or a related discipline
Solid understanding of environmental planning and species protection regulations
Proficiency with GIS software and MS Office applications
Strong organizational and communication skills
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
