Our client is seeking a motivated Remote Operations Center (NOC) Operator to support the safe, efficient, and optimized performance of RNG facilities across the U.S. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing team that’s driving the future of clean energy, where data, technology, and operations intersect.
This is a remote position working the night shift (Mon–Thurs) once training is complete, and requires candidates to live within roughly 35 minutes of one of our operational hubs in:
- St. Petersburg, FL
- Richland, WA
- Elberta, UT
- Waterloo, IA
You’ll work closely with onsite operators to monitor multiple RNG plants, troubleshoot issues in real time, and leverage performance data to maximize production and uptime.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitor and control RNG processing plants to ensure safe, efficient, and optimized operations.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support decision-making.
- Communicate with onsite teams to remotely assist in daily operations and technical problem-solving.
- Read and apply technical documentation such as P&IDs, electrical drawings, and operating manuals.
- Log plant activity, generate reports, and provide detailed operational documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify process improvements and enhance system performance.
- Maintain safety standards, follow company procedures, and ensure compliance with all operational guidelines.
What You'll Need:
- A degree or equivalent experience in engineering, data analytics, environmental science, or related fields.
- Experience in process plant operations, power generation, or control room environments.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn RNG or industrial plant processes quickly.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, comfortable collaborating across remote teams.
- Proficiency in data analytics and technical reporting (Excel, Grafana, Tableau preferred).
- Ability to interpret technical documents and apply process knowledge effectively.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening and travel occasionally (0–10%).
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA, or Ignition-based HMI software.
- Knowledge of AI-driven monitoring or automation tools.
