Traveling Generator Electrical Crew – Superintendent (Nightshift)

 

We’re seeking a Superintendent to lead a traveling electrical crew responsible for replacing electrical systems in commercial facilities nationwide. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong field experience, team coordination, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities across multiple job sites.
  • Interpret electrical drawings and ensure accurate execution of work.
  • Supervise and support electricians and journeymen during nightshift operations.
  • Ensure safety compliance and quality control across all phases of the project.
  • Manage schedules, logistics, and communication with project managers.
  • Operate and direct use of equipment such as telehandlers, skid steers, and mini excavators.
  • Troubleshoot issues in real-time and maintain productivity under tight timelines.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time on a recurring 10-day rotation.
  • (Preferred) Experience with generator systems and temporary power setups.

 

Work Environment

  • Work takes place inside commercial facilities throughout the United States, primarily during nightshift hours.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive pay with a 15% nightshift differential.
  • Guaranteed 80 hours per pay period, with opportunities for overtime.
  • Paid travel time – you're on the clock as soon as you leave your driveway.
  • Per diem, company vehicle for travel, and hotel accommodations provided.

  • All tools supplied by the company.
  • Work schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off (nightshift 8pm–6am, except for the first day).
