Package/Logistics: Up to €65,000 base salary + bonus. Initial 12 month FTC

 

Piper Maddox are working alongside one of Ireland's leading energy companies to hire for a key role within their renewable energy division. Our client has been a mainstay in this sector for close to 30 years and they are one of the largest contributors of clean energy across the country.

 

This company are a fully fledged independent power producer (IPP) who have a demonstrable track record in taking projects through development and construction, finishing up with an operational asset. You can therefore rest assured that you will see your projects come to fruition. You would be contributing to a diverse portfolio of Solar, Onshore Wind, and Battery Storage projects.

This company has industry leading funding and a highly experienced team dedicated to the clean energy transition across both Ireland and Northern Ireland.

 

Kicking off this year, they are looking to hire an experienced Stakeholder/Community Engagement professional who will be crucial in the progression of their development pipeline through key consenting & permitting stages. The involvement of this person will be across the full lifecycle from early stage development, all the way through to the eventual delivery of the project.

 

In this role, you would be responsible for:

 

> The management of key stakeholders including local & national governments, community leaders, as well as planning councils.

 

> Creation and publication of key communication content around renewable energy projects, providing key updates to relevant communities and government bodies.

 

> Ensuring compliance with community engagement guidelines, prompt response to queries/concerns, as well as attending public consultation events across the country.

 

> Manage and promote key community benefits funds within projects, as well as being involved in bids for new project work.

 

This role would initially begin as a 12 month FTC with scope for a permanent position upon conclusion of the role.

EPC Project Manager

EPC Project Manager | Utility-Scale Solar & BESS Bucharest, Romania Piper Maddox are supporting one of Europe’s leading independent power producers as they progress the construction of one of Romania’s largest renewable energy assets. This flagship hybrid PV & BESS project (300MW+) will be delivered over a two-year construction programme and requires an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of delivery, based between the office in Bucharest and site in Brașov. With strong financial backing from one of the world’s largest infrastructure investment funds, this business is scaling rapidly across Romania. Operating with a lean but growing local team, the Project Manager will play a critical role on a landmark project, offering high levels of autonomy, senior stakeholder exposure, and long-term progression within a leading IPP platform. As Project Manager, you will: Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale utility solar & BESS project from RtB through to COD.Lead and coordinate EPC / EPCM contractors, Owner’s Engineers, and key subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.Own the project programme, budget, risk register, and reporting, providing clear updates to internal leadership and investors.Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including grid operators, local authorities, and technical advisors.Oversee site leadership functions including construction management, quality, and HSE in collaboration with dedicated site teams.Ensure compliance with Romanian regulations, permitting conditions, and international best practices. This hybrid PV & BESS site will be over 300MW, requiring an expert in large-scale solar construction to be based on site and oversee all EPCM contractors during the 2 year project. With strong financial backing from one the worlds largest infrastructure investment funds, this company is aiming to grow into one of Romania's leading operators. With a small but growing local team, this role offers significant autonomy and visibility, overseeing site activities on a landmark project with strong international backing. As Site Manager, you will: Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure schedules and budgets are adhered to.Oversee subcontractors’ installation work with site engineers, ensuring design accuracy and quality.Liaise with suppliers and the Procurement department for material deliveries.Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan and Quality Control Procedures.Ensure proper procedures and reporting for damages or accidents in collaboration with the HSE department.
