Project Developer Renewable Energy Projects - Solar & Onshore Wind Scotland Office Locations - 2/3 days per week in office Piper Maddox are currently working with a well established name in the renewable energy sector with key growth in their project development team. Our client have been around for over a decade and have a strong track record in the development and delivery of a variety of renewable energy technologies. This company are a fully fledged IPP taking projects from inception through to asset operation for large scale Solar and Onshore Wind projects across the UK. They have a demonstrable track record in achieving the full project lifecycle, and paired with excellent funding, you can rest assured you will see your projects come to fruition. They are currently looking to hire a Project Developer who will be responsible for seeing their portfolio through key development milestones, ushering projects to the RTB stage before handing over the construction team from there. This will be on a mixed portfolio of greenfield schemes, project acquisitions, and repowering projects. In this role you will be responsible for: Securing planning consents for solar and wind projects including EIA processes. In both the Scottish and English planning systems.Contributing to the latter stages of land strategy and transactions including option to lease agreements, wayleaves, easements etc.Discharging planning conditions within the development process and fulfilling lease agreements to smoothly transition a project into construction.Contribute to coordinating and assessing potential M&A transactions on the buy-side including technical due diligence and financial modelling.
