My client is a venture-backed provider of smart, self-reliant charging infrastructure tailored to multifamily, commercial, and campus-based properties. Headquartered in New York City, it has developed a patented technology platform that allows chargers to function independently of Wi-Fi, cellular, or cloud connectivity. The company has expanded rapidly across more than 40 U.S. states, partnering with major real estate groups and deploying thousands of Level 2 chargers. It has also gained traction in the education sector by installing charging stations on numerous college campuses. With over $50 million in total funding-including a $40 million Series B-it continues to grow its national footprint by offering a resilient and cost-effective charging solution for both property owners and EV drivers.

Responsibilities:

Perform FP&A tasks including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ad hoc reporting to guide strategic business decisions.
Deliver financial insights to shape product strategy in close collaboration with the Product Team and senior leadership.
Evaluate account-level data to support unit economics, customer-level performance, and recurring revenue projections.
Contribute to the creation of board presentations and investor materials in partnership with the CEO and Head of Finance.

Accounting Operations & Reporting

Work with the Head of Accounting to enhance and streamline the month-end close process and support timely, accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with the Head of Finance on budgeting, variance analysis, and monitoring departmental expenditures.
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, contract review, and audit preparation.
Liaise with external accounting firms and financial institutions to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or consulting-ideally within a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
Strong working knowledge of NetSuite and familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of initiative, organization, and a passion for the company's mission.
Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving and execution.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
