Piper Maddox is partnered with a Global Independent Power Producer on the search for a Director of Construction with Utility-Scale Solar Experience above 50MW+. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure successful project execution and adherence to company standards. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Strategic Direction and Operations: Plan and direct day-to-day operations and strategic direction of utility-scale solar construction programs. Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to creating and maintaining best-in-class policies and procedures. Supply Chain Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships within the supply chain. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a team of professionals across multiple projects. Project Oversight: Provide guidance and project leadership to ensure projects meet or exceed company expectations. Vendor Management: Direct external vendors including General Contractors, design teams, and suppliers. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain high-value relationships critical to project success.
