Piper Maddox has been engaged by one of the world’s largest private renewable energy companies, to assist them with hiring a NERC Compliance Manager in Houston TX.

 

Job role:

 

• You will oversee the compliance program and be an interface with FERC, NERC, NERC Regional Entities (MRO, NPCC, RFC, SERC, TRE & WECC), Canadian regulatory authorities (AESO, BCUC, Government of Manitoba, IESO), ISO/RTOs (AESO, CAISO, ERCOT, IESO, MISO, PJM & SPP) and other regulatory and reliability entities applicable to the company assets.

 

• The NERC Compliance Manager will lead the effort to monitor different reliability regulatory rules as they apply to ensure the appropriate systematic preventive measures in place to maintain compliance with the requirements

 

• You will provide technical guidance and feedback to operations, engineering, information technology, and other subject matter experts tasked to support compliance with reliability regulations.

 

• Activities include managing several Reliability Compliance Analysts.

 

• Maintaining the compliance of assets to applicable FERC Orders, NERC Reliability Standards, ISO/RTO market rules

 

Location and Compensation:

• Houston, TX (Hybrid, 2-3 days in office)

• $130,000 to $150,000 + Bonus and Benefits

• 20% Travel requirements
