Piper Maddox arbeitet mit einem schnell wachsenden Entwickler im Bereich erneuerbare Energien zusammen, der sich derzeit zu einem Independent Power Producer (IPP) weiterentwickelt und sein Team um einen Projektleiter Elektrotechnik erweitern möchte.

Sie werden Teil eines 20-köpfigen Teams, das bis Ende des Jahres auf 30 Mitarbeitende wachsen soll. Ihre Hauptverantwortung besteht darin, die elektrotechnische Planung und Umsetzung von großen Solar- und Batteriespeicherprojekten (BESS) in ganz Deutschland von Anfang bis Ende zu verantworten.

Das Führungsteam des Unternehmens bringt Erfahrung aus über 5 GW an Wind- und Solarprojekten mit, und die aktuelle Projektpipeline umfasst bereits Anlagen im Betrieb sowie Projekte im RTB-Status (Ready-to-Build).

 

  • Position: Projektleiter Elektrotechnik
  • Gehalt: Bis zu 85.000 € Grundgehalt + Firmenwagen
  • Standort: Remote. Der Hauptsitz befindet sich in Hamburg, die wichtigsten Projekte liegen jedoch in Süddeutschland. Daher wird idealerweise ein Kandidat aus Süddeutschland gesucht, Bewerbungen aus ganz Deutschland sind jedoch willkommen.

 

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Steuerung des Netzanschlussprozesses sowie der technischen Anschlussvereinbarungen mit Netzbetreibern
  • Planung und Prüfung von Umspannwerken, Mittelspannungsinfrastruktur und Kabeltrassen
  • Verantwortung für die elektrotechnische Planung innerhalb und außerhalb der PV-Anlage (inkl. AC/DC-Systeme, Wechselrichter und Module)
  • Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Netzanschlussrichtlinien, Zertifizierungsanforderungen und VDE-Normen
  • Durchführung von Technical Due Diligence (TDD) bei Projektakquisitionen sowie Prüfung von EPC-Engineering und Verträgen
  • Unterstützung bei Projekten, die im RTB- oder Bau-Stadium erworben werden

 

Ihr Profil:

  • Fundierter Hintergrund in Elektrotechnik und Netzintegration (idealerweise mindestens 3–5 Jahre Erfahrung)
  • Erfahrung mit Umspannwerken, AC/DC-Kabelplanung und PV-Anlagendesign
  • Kenntnisse im Bereich Utility-Scale-Photovoltaik (Erfahrung mit BESS ist ein großes Plus)
  • Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Netzbetreibern, EPC-Unternehmen und Zertifizierungsstellen
  • Verständnis für Bauprozesse und Projektmanagement

Piper Maddox is partnered with a fast-growing renewable energy developer, transitioning into an IPP, who are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to add to the team!

You will join a team of 20, looking to grow to 30 by the end of the year. Your main responsibility will be to lead the electrical engineering of large-scale solar and battery storage projects from start to finish, across Germany.

The leadership team behind the company brings experience from 5+ GW of wind and solar projects, and their current pipeline already has projects in operation and at RTB!

 

  • Position: Project Engineering Manager
  • Salary: Up to €85, 000 base salary + car
  • Location: Remote. HQ is in Hamburg, but their key projects are in South Germany, so ideally, the candidate will be based in the South. Open to applications from elsewhere in Germany.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the grid connection process and technical agreements with grid operators
  • Engineer and review substations, medium-voltage infrastructure, and cable routes
  • Oversee electrical engineering inside and outside the PV plant (including AC/DC systems, converters, and modules)
  • Ensure compliance with grid norms, certification standards, and VDE requirements
  • Conduct technical due diligence (TDD) for acquired projects and review EPC engineering and contracts
  • Support projects acquired at RTB or construction stage

 

What You Bring:

  • Strong background in electrical engineering and grid integration (ideally 3-5 years' minimum)
  • Experience with substations, AC/DC cable layouts, and PV plant design
  • Knowledge of utility-scale PV (BESS experience a strong plus)
  • Experience working with grid operators, EPC contractors, and certification bodies
  • Understanding of construction processes and project management
