Im Auftrag eines etablierten und finanziell starken Unternehmens unterstützen wir den Ausbau eines internen Engineering-Teams, das für die Entwicklung und den Netzanschluss von erneuerbaren Energieprojekten in ganz Deutschland verantwortlich ist.

 

Diese Position spielt eine zentrale Rolle bei der Unterstützung einer schnell wachsenden Pipeline von BESS-, Solar- und Windprojekten, die derzeit etwa 0,5 GW an Anträgen pro Monat umfasst!

 

Positionsübersicht:

Sie werden Teil eines kollaborativen Engineering-Teams und tragen zur technischen Planung und Koordination der Netzinfrastruktur für ein vielfältiges Projektportfolio bei, einschließlich sowohl eigenständiger als auch hybrider Systeme.

 

Ihre Rolle konzentriert sich darauf, eine effiziente Netzintegration zu ermöglichen, die Projektentwicklung aus technischer Sicht zu unterstützen und die Einhaltung von Netzanforderungen und Standards sicherzustellen.

 

Ihre Aufgaben umfassen:

  • Unterstützung von Netzanschlussprozessen für Projekte im Bereich erneuerbare Energien
  • Technische Planung und Koordination elektrischer Infrastruktur
  • Arbeiten mit und Interpretation von Einliniendiagrammen (SLDs)
  • Zusammenarbeit mit internen Teams und externen Stakeholdern
  • Unterstützung der Kommunikation und Koordination mit Netzbetreibern

 

Das ideale Profil:

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik oder eines vergleichbaren Fachgebiets
  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Mittelspannungs-Netzinfrastruktur oder vergleichbar
  • Fundiertes Verständnis elektrischer Systeme und Netzintegration
  • Erfahrung in strukturierten Engineering- oder Projektumgebungen
  • Deutschkenntnisse auf C1/C2-Niveau (B2 wird mit relevantem akademischen Hintergrund/DSH/TestDaF berücksichtigt)
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse

 

Wünschenswerte Erfahrungen (kein Muss):

  • Erfahrung mit Hochspannungssystemen
  • Kenntnisse in Netzberechnungen (Lastfluss, Kurzschluss), idealerweise mit NEPLAN
  • Erfahrung im Bereich erneuerbare Energien, insbesondere BESS
  • Erfahrung in der Koordination mit Netzbetreibern

Electrical Engineer for Grid Infrastructure (m/f/d)

On behalf of a well-established and financially strong organisation, we are supporting the expansion of an in-house engineering team responsible for the development and grid connection of renewable energy projects across Germany.

 

This position plays a key role in supporting a rapidly growing pipeline of BESS, solar, and wind projects, currently delivering approximately 0.5 GW of applications per month!

 

Position Overview:

You will join a collaborative engineering team, contributing to the technical planning and coordination of grid infrastructure for a diverse portfolio of projects, including both standalone and hybrid systems.

 

Your role will focus on enabling efficient grid integration, supporting project development from a technical perspective, and ensuring alignment with grid requirements and standards.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting grid connection processes for renewable energy projects
  • Technical planning and coordination of electrical infrastructure
  • Working with and interpreting Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Supporting communication and coordination with grid operators

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in medium-voltage grid infrastructure or similar
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and grid integration
  • Experience working in structured engineering or project environments
  • C1/C2 German (B2 considered with relevant academic background/DSH/TestDaF)
  • Good English skills

 

Desirable Experience (Not Essential):

  • Exposure to high-voltage systems
  • Experience with power system studies (load flow, short circuit), ideally using NEPLAN
  • Background in renewable energy, particularly BESS
  • Experience coordinating with grid operators

Project Developer - Solar & Onshore Wind Location - Cork Office (3 days per week in office, 2 days WFH) Salary Range: €55,000 - 65,000 DOE + wider package Piper Maddox are partnering with an industry leader in the global renewable energy sector with a key addition to their operations in the Irish renewable energy market. Our client have been a mainstay in the sector for many years now and have a demonstrable track record across multiple international territories. In terms of structure, this company are a fully fledged independent power producer (IPP) who take projects from inception, through development, into delivery, and eventual operation. Technology-wise you would be working on a range of Solar, BESS, and Onshore Wind projects - all at a utility scale. In Ireland specifically, this company have developed an excellent portfolio of projects at various stages of the development lifecycle. With this strength of pipeline, they are currently looking at adding experience to their project development function in the form of a Project Developer hire who will be crucial in the early stages of the project lifecycle. In this role you will be responsible for: > Identification of new sites/project opportunities, as well as the resultant negotiations with landowners and management of the land acquisition process. > Management of the planning application process, collaborating with external 3rd party consultants, as well as representing the company at public consultation events. > Liaison with internal and external engineering and grid professionals to ensure the technical feasibility of a project as it progresses to the RTB stage. This role would be a great opportunity for someone with 2-4 years of experience, with backgrounds in land acquisition or planning being ideal.
