Initially the focus is across the Western region with realistic timelines of expanding US wide. They have a number of core selling points that put their product miles above the rest of the industry, this has been proven by their backing, portfolio of sites and pipeline.As the leader of the Engineering & Design groups, your responsibilities will include: Creating, implementing and maintaining the highest Engineering standards, Quality assurance procedures & Basis of Design.Primary point of contact for all internal & external Engineers of Record, ensuring a timely completion of each project.Develop Site plans through CAD, assisting with the wider teams tasks.Communicate with AHj’s, Entitlement groups & Utilities.Much more. Grid Services & Compliance EngineerBased across various offices, including Cornwall, Hertfordshire, Glasgow or NewcastleWe’re supporting a leading global renewable energy business in their search for a Grid Services & Compliance Engineer to play a key role in shaping and delivering grid strategy across a large-scale operational asset portfolio.The companyThis organisation is a well-established player in the renewable energy sector, with a strong international footprint and a significant UK&I function.This function continues to grow, with a clear focus on optimising operational performance and unlocking additional value through grid and ancillary service opportunities.Their pipeline currently stands at 140 assets mainly wind but with some solar and energy storage. This team also looks at projects across Europe, with scope for this role to also work across the Nordic region, France, USA and Australia.The roleYou main role will be to take ownership of developing and evolving the UK&I Asset Management grid strategy, while leading client-facing grid initiatives across the portfolio.The main responsibilities The main purpose of this role will be to work with operational asset to make improvements and to work with routes to market teams to improve grid ancillary services for operational assets.You'll also be staying up to date with relevant grid documentations, polices and ancillary services.You'll also need to convey these techncial works to various internal teams.You'll also be the first port of call and main communicator with NESO and managing communications with stakeholders.
