I'm currently supporting a growing renewable energy business with the expansion of its engineering team in Germany. They are looking to hire an Electrical Project Engineer to support the planning and delivery of utility-scale PV, BESS and EV charging infrastructure projects.
The RoleAs part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take ownership of the electrical engineering scope across projects, supporting them from concept and planning through to commissioning.

Your responsibilities will include:Developing electrical concepts for PV, BESS and EV charging projectsSupporting medium-voltage planning and grid connection designEngineering and coordinating communication, control and protection systemsLiaising with grid operators, certification bodies and external engineering partnersSupporting commissioning, energisation and switching activitiesPreparing and reviewing technical documentationEnsuring quality, budget and schedule targets are achieved within your area of responsibilityActing as a key technical contact throughout the project lifecycle

Your ProfileWe are interested in speaking with candidates from a variety of electrical engineering backgrounds, including renewable energy, utilities, medium-voltage engineering, switchgear, energy infrastructure or industrial electrical systems.

You will ideally have:A degree in Electrical Engineering, State-Certified Technician qualification, Master Electrician certification, or similarExperience in electrical planning, design or project engineeringExposure to medium-voltage systems, grid connections, protection systems or energy infrastructure projectsStrong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholdersA structured and solution-oriented approach to engineering challengesFluent German language skills (minimum C1)
Previous experience with PV, BESS or EV charging infrastructure is beneficial but not essential.

They are seeking an experiencedCivil Construction Supervisorto oversee on-site civil works during the construction of utility-scale energy storage facilities. Key Responsibilities Supervise and oversee all civil construction activities on utility-scale BESS projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. Manage and coordinate civil subcontractors on site, monitoring workmanship, compliance, and construction progress. Review and approve construction methodologies, inspection plans, and quality documentation related to civil works. Conduct inspections and acceptance of foundations, earthworks, concrete structures, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure. Identify and mitigate construction, quality, and safety risks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed out effectively. Coordinate interfaces between civil, electrical, and commissioning teams to support efficient project execution. Support project handover activities, punch-list management, and final acceptance processes. Maintain accurate site documentation, including inspection reports, quality records, construction logs, and photographic evidence.
