My client is one of the fastest growing clean energy companies and they're hiring an HR Generalist for their Corpus Christi office. They are publicly traded firm valued over a half a billion dollars, and their stock price has risen significantly over the past few years. They doubled in size last year and project significant growth opportunity in 2027. This is your chance to break into an industry that will power future generations while promoting a more sustainable tomorrow.
What you'll be doing:
• You'll run HR for the office day to day, hold supervisors to company policy, and visit field sites a couple of times a month with the safety leadership team.• Owning discipline, investigations and performance management, and making sure supervisors follow through.• Running benefits administration, from enrollment and life event changes to carrier audits and clean records.• Coordinating hiring, onboarding and employee exits.• Keeping HRIS records and HR-related payroll data accurate.• Interpreting company policy and keeping the business compliant with employment law.• Answering HR questions from employees and managers, and improving HR processes along the way.
What you'll bring:
• 3+ years as an HR Generalist or above.• A track record of seeing disciplinary cases through and holding supervisors accountable.• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information.• Strong organization and clear communication with employees, managers and vendors.• Working knowledge of federal and Texas employment law.• Comfortable with Microsoft Office plus HR and payroll software.• Able to work 8 to 5 on-site, travel to company sites, lift up to 50 pounds and pass drug and alcohol testing.
Nice to have:
• 5+ years in HR, including time as a Senior Generalist or HR Manager.• A bachelor's in HR, Business Administration or similar.• Paycom experience.
What our client offers:
• $75,000 to $85,000 base salary• Annual variable bonus plus long-term incentives• 401(k) with company match• Employer-paid healthcare and generous PTO
