Bid Manager - Utilities & Renewable Energy Infrastructure

 

Cardiff Office Location with Hybrid Working Patterns Available

 

Salary Dependent on Candidate Experience: £40,000 - 45,000 + wider package

 

Piper Maddox are working alongside a leading name in the Energy industry with the growth of their Utilities and Renewable Energy Services offering. This company have been a constant presence in the space for over 20 years and have built up an excellent reputation as a company with a strong balance of project results as well as doing development & projects the "right way".

 

Having such a wealth of experience over these two decades has led this company to have had significant capital injection recently. Combining these factors makes them one of the most stable and well established companies within the sector.

 

Our client have a hugely varied portfolio of clean energy projects, giving them multiple revenue streams where they are market leaders within. This includes renewable energy infrastructure, utilities, and electric vehicles.

 

They have the in-house capabilities to cover the whole project lifecycle for all of their projects. This includes the initial project development phase, the construction, all the way to the operation and running of the full clean energy project. With their track record and investment, you can rest assured you will see your projects come to fruition!

 

This role would sit within their commercial and business development team and is crucial for this company's growth both in established and emerging markets. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and a drive to grow and expand our client's portfolio of work across the energy sector.

 

In this role you would be responsible for:

 

> Identifying and approaching new business development opportunities that fit with the company's growth strategy.

 

> Running the full bid and tender process from inception through to completion including monitoring bid updates, requests for information, and bid responses.

 

> The negotiation of key commercial terms within the bid process and management of the contract process.

 

Previous experience in the Energy/Utilities industry is desirable for this position as it would allow you to hit the ground running in this role. Experience in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing legal documents and contracts.
