Finance Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $120,000-$140,000

 

Piper Maddox is partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturing company who specialize in numerous key global industries, namely critical equipment for renewable energy projects. They are on track to nearly double their revenues from $400 million in the next 5 years.

 

The company is looking to hire a Finance Manager who will own the reporting and financial modelling of their Energy and Infrastructure Solution business unit in Houston, TX. This will be a critical hire, as the finance manager will also oversee and manage the 3 analysts and oversee overall financial performance for the business unit.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Proficiency in variance analysis, financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Conduct all FP&A analyses to report and model the finances of the E&IS Business Unit.
  • Manage, lead, and develop team of 3 analysts to ensure a successful business unit.
  • Utilize Workday Adaptive Planning to integrate financial and operational data.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Strong finance professional background with track record of building FP&A functions.
  • Experience in renewable energy is highly preferable.
  • Technical background with electrical or energy focus is a bonus.
  • Experience in oil and gas at manufacturing company is highly preferable.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management.
  • Possess a global business and strategic mindset along with international knowledge base as it pertains to corporate finance.

Procurement Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding U.S.-based uranium production business. With rising nuclear demand, tightening uranium supply, and a scalable, low-cost mining model, they are a strongly positioned for long-term growth and energy-security leadership. The Procurement Manager will lead procurement and supply chain operations for Wyoming, with potential future oversight across additional U.S. mining sites. This role focuses on optimizing purchasing processes, improving warehousing systems, managing supplier relationships, and supporting efficient mine operations. Location: Casper, WY (no remote flexibility) Key Responsibilities Oversee local purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.Lead sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management.Standardize and improve procurement processes with scalability for multi-site operations.Collaborate with site and corporate leadership to align purchasing strategy with operational goals.Build and manage efficient warehousing, logistics, and inventory control systems.Manage staff, budgets, inventory levels, and timely delivery of materials to operating and project sites.Support forecasting, cost-saving initiatives, and future expansion needs.
