Project Manager - Environmental & Planning Team
Salary & Logistics: Up to £30,000 DOE + wider package. Cornwall Office Location
Technology: Utility Scale Solar and Onshore Wind projects, as well as smaller scale wind schemes.

This company are a fully fledged IPP who cover the full project lifecycle from inception through to a project being operational and have the demonstrable know how to delivery their development pipeline.
This company specialize in the development, construction, and operation of Solar and Onshore Wind projects at a variety of scales, making up a diverse portfolio of assets that you could contribute to. This diverse portfolio also allows this company to be very agile in an every changing market.
Our client have a tight knit and collaborative team from early stage development, technical & engineering professionals, and into in house O&M capabilities. The team are at a good size where they are large enough to be a solid presence in the industry without losing dynamism in their decision making processes.

Our client is looking to hire a new Planning & Environmental Project Manager at a junior level who will be contributing to the development of their solar and wind portfolio.
In this role, you will be supporting the existing team on the preparation of planning applications, EIA submissions, site feasibility assessments on an ecological/environmental level, new suitable site identification, contributing to public consultation & planning research.
Useful existing skills to bring into this role would be education in a renewable energy/planning discipline, knowledge of the UK renewable energy landscape and key project considerations, as well as software exposure to GIS and/or AutoCAD.
