PV Project Developer

 

We have partnered with a renewable energy developer specialising in solar and BESS projects. They have been operating as an IPP, developing, owning, and managing renewable energy assets over the long term for just under ten years.

They are now looking to expand their Development Team in Germany and are seeking an experienced PV Project Developer.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of solar park, Agri-PV, and ground-mounted PV projects
  • Engage with authorities, grid operators, landowners, farmers, and local stakeholders
  • Present project concepts and incorporate feedback into planning
  • Coordinate grid connection planning and secure capacity
  • Negotiate land agreements and support contract finalisation
  • Contribute to power sales strategy and market monitoring
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and travel within Europe as required

 

Your Profile

  • 3+ years’ experience in renewable energy or project development
  • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Native German and fluent English
  • Experience with grid connections and project contracting
  • Structured, organised, and proactive working style

PV/BESS Project Developer We have currently partnered exclusively with a leading global renewable energy company, specializing in developing, financing, constructing, and operating utility-scale clean energy solutions. Location: Munich (Hybrid working set up) Key Responsibilities Support all stages of project development, including early-stage screening, assessments, and due diligence.Identify permitting and development risks and communicate them proactively to Origination and Development teams.Lead and coordinate environmental, geotechnical, and other required studies in accordance with German law and industry best practices.Manage land-use rights, including site control, easements, servitudes, and wayleaves.Oversee external consultants and service providers, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.Review technical, environmental, and advisory reports to ensure compliance with German legislation and internal standards.Coordinate with external legal counsel on statements, responses, and appeals as required.Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including authorities, partners, and local communities.Represent projects at public meetings, including presentations and stakeholder engagement.
