Piper Maddox have been assigned to a leading US land and infrastructure platform in the renewable energy industry as they continue to scale their investment team. This role is crucial to supporting investment, underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. The platform manages $2 billion worth of investments globally.

 

The Senior Finance Associate will support investment underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. You will have the opportunity to play a vital role in a team driving energy investments forward nationally in a time when energy demand is at an all-time high.

 

What you will do:

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, asset performance, and capital deployment decisions.
  • Review and structure high value investment opportunities across a variety of energy and infrastructure deals across the US.
  • Lead transaction execution and ongoing asset management.
  • Own and manage proprietary datasets, including aggregation, validation, and summarization of large data sets.

 

What you will have:

  • Hand on experience in structured financing / investment opportunities within energy, commercial real estate or infrastructure.
  • 4-6 years of experience in either investment banking, project finance roles with renewable energy developer or investment firm.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear conclusions.

Our client have been around for over a decade and have a strong track record in the development and delivery of a variety of renewable energy technologies. This company are a fully fledged IPP taking projects from inception through to asset operation for large scale Solar and Onshore Wind projects across the UK. They have a demonstrable track record in achieving the full project lifecycle, and paired with excellent funding, you can rest assured you will see your projects come to fruition. Our client is currently looking to hire a Senior Project Developer who will take charge of a crucial joint venture within the company portfolio. Our client has a long-term partnership with a significant estate who support extensive renewable energy schemes on their land. This role takes on the responsibility of leading on this JV in terms of progressing these projects through development and on into the handover to construction and eventual operation. In this role you would get the opportunity to take ownership over a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets, meaning this position requires a high level of autonomy within projects.
