With an exciting international pipeline of over 20GW across Solar PV and BESS technologies, the company is continuing its growth and looking to expand its operational capabilities.As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out operations and maintenance activities across utility-scale, ground-mounted Solar PV plants and BESS assets. This role requires a fully qualified electrician with experience in operating and maintaining MW-scale power plants, along with strong DC and HV electrical competencies.Location: DublinSalary: £50,000Key responsibilities: Adherence to and management of health and safety requirements at all times and helping to maintain and improve safety standards across the plants.Perform inspection, testing and maintenance of plant and equipment.Undertaking AC and DC system testing, troubleshooting and fault-finding. Maintain close communication with the O&M office and wider team functions. Must haves: Good knowledge and understanding of solar PV technology is essential.Knowledge of central inverters is highly desirable.Solar PV installation and O&M experience (MW-scale or large commercial ground-mount).Battery storage installation and O&M experience (MW- scale) is desirable.Strong technical understanding of AC, DC, SCADA, instrumentation and communications networks.
