Piper Maddox arbeitet mit einem globalen Entwickler, Betreiber und Investor im Bereich Energiespeicherung zusammen, der aktuell einen Senior Grid Manager sucht, um das Wachstum des Deutschlandgeschäfts zu unterstützen.

 

Sie werden Teil eines schlanken deutschen Teams, während das Unternehmen seine Präsenz in der Region weiter ausbaut. Die aktuelle Pipeline umfasst ein 1-GW-Projekt (4 GWh), das kurz vor Ready-To-Build steht, sowie mehrere weitere Projekte in der Entwicklungsphase in West- und Süddeutschland.

 

Das Unternehmen ist international in mehreren wichtigen Energiespeichermärkten tätig (Großbritannien, Italien, Spanien, Australien und Frankreich) und hat sich als Tier-One-Player im globalen BESS-Sektor etabliert. Gearbeitet wird in einer leistungsstarken und agilen Teamstruktur, in der Eigenverantwortung, Geschwindigkeit und Zusammenarbeit entscheidend sind, um Projekte im großen Maßstab umzusetzen.

 

  • Position: Senior Manager Netzanschluss
  • Gehalt: Bis zu €180.000 Gesamtvergütung. Keine feste Begrenzung der Urlaubstage (nach Bedarf und in angemessenem Rahmen zu nehmen).
  • Standort: Remote / flexibel innerhalb Deutschlands. Das Unternehmen hat zwei zentrale Standorte in Europa – gelegentliche Reisetätigkeit ist willkommen.

 

Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Steuerung der Netzanschlussprozesse und -anträge bei TSOs und DSOs
  • Zentrale technische Schnittstelle zu deutschen Netzbetreibern
  • Leitung von netzbezogenen Diskussionen, Verhandlungen und Stakeholder-Abstimmungen
  • Unterstützung der Entwicklung von großskaligen BESS-Projekten über den gesamten Netzanschlussprozess
  • Bereitstellung technischer Expertise zu Hochspannungsnetzanforderungen und Netzintegration

 

Ihr Profil:

  • Fundierte Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit TSOs oder DSOs oder in einer dedizierten Netzanschlussrolle
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Management von Netzanschlussprozessen in Deutschland
  • Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit und Abstimmung mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern
  • Hintergrund in Erneuerbare-Energien-Projekten (Solar, Wind, BESS oder andere Utility-Scale-Assets wie Offshore-Wind)
  • Expertise im Hochspannungsnetz und solides technisches Verständnis von Netzinfrastruktur
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik oder eines vergleichbaren Fachgebiets
  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse

Piper Maddox is partnered with a global energy storage developer, operator, and investor, who are looking for a Senior Grid Manager to support the growth of their German business.

 

You will join a lean German team as the company expands its presence in the region. Their current pipeline includes a 1 GW (4 GWh) project approaching Ready-To-Build, with multiple projects across development in West and South Germany.

 

The company operates internationally across several key energy storage markets (UK, Italy, Spain, Australia, and France), and has established itself as a tier-one player in the global BESS sector. They work with a high-performance & agile team structure, where ownership, speed, and collaboration are central to delivering projects at scale!

 

  • Position: Senior Grid Manager
  • Salary: Up to €180,000 total package. NO cap on holidays (to be taken when needed & within reason)
  • Location: Remote / Flexible within Germany. 2 key HQs in Europe, so if the candidate is flexible to travel occasionally, it is welcomed!

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage grid connection processes and applications with TSOs and DSOs
  • Act as the key technical interface with German grid operators
  • Lead grid-related discussions, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement
  • Support the development of large-scale BESS projects through the grid connection lifecycle
  • Provide technical expertise on high-voltage grid requirements and integration

 

What You Bring:

  • Strong experience working with TSOs or DSOs or in a dedicated grid connection role
  • Proven experience managing grid connection processes in Germany
  • Proven experience cooperating & liaising with stakeholders
  • Background in renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, BESS, or utility-scale assets such as Offshore Wind)
  • High-voltage grid expertise and strong technical understanding of grid infrastructure
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Fluent German and professional English
