The company has developed and invested in hundreds of megawatts of clean energy assets and is continuing significant growth through a large pipeline of projects.This organization is focused on making clean energy more accessible while delivering projects that provide economic, environmental, and community benefits.Position SummaryThe company is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the construction execution of its growing portfolio of utility-scale solar projects. This individual will serve as the owner’s representative onsite, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with schedule, budget, contract requirements, and quality standards.The Construction Manager will work closely with EPC contractors, internal project teams, engineering, safety, and operations groups to manage project delivery from construction kickoff through completion.Key Responsibilities Serve as the onsite owner’s representative overseeing utility-scale solar construction completed by third-party EPC contractorsManage EPC contractor performance related to safety, quality, schedule, budget, and scope executionEnsure projects are constructed in accordance with contract requirements, permits, design documents, and company standardsPartner with safety teams to maintain the highest safety standards onsiteConduct daily site walks and monitor construction progressTrack project schedules, identify risks, and develop remediation plans when neededReview and verify construction milestones across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopesEnsure EPC contractors follow QA/QC requirements and deliver high-quality assetsReview contractor invoices and verify completed workManage punch lists from mechanical completion through final completionSupport project closeout activities, including collection and review of documentationBuild strong working relationships with EPC contractors and internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement across construction processes Qualifications 5+ years of utility-scale solar construction management experienceStrong understanding of solar construction processes, methods, and best practicesExperience managing EPC contractors and overseeing construction executionOSHA 30 certification preferredStrong knowledge of construction quality standards, regulations, and safety practicesExperience reviewing construction drawings, scopes of work, and project documentationAbility to travel approximately 75% of the time and spend extended periods onsiteStrong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skillsAbility to independently identify project risks and drive solutionsConstruction Management certification or equivalent field experience preferred Ideal BackgroundsThis role would be a strong fit for candidates coming from: Utility-scale solar EPC organizationsOwner’s representative construction rolesSenior Construction Manager positionsSolar Project Managers with strong field execution experienceRenewable energy construction professionals with EPC oversight experience Benefits Competitive compensation packageAnnual bonus opportunity (~20%)401(k) with company matchEmployer-sponsored health benefitsUnlimited PTOOpportunity to join a high-growth clean energy organization with significant project expansion ahead
