From utility-scale solar to innovative agrivoltaic projects that integrate energy production with regenerative land management, we're demonstrating that renewable energy can deliver benefits far beyond clean power.We're looking for a Construction Oversight Manager to join our team and play a critical role in bringing these projects to life.The OpportunityThis is a 100% field-based leadership role, with a preference for candidates located in or near the Tennessee Valley region.As Construction Oversight Manager, you'll serve as the key on-site representative overseeing construction from mobilization through completion. You'll work directly with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, project stakeholders, and internal leadership to make sure every project is built safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.This is a role for someone who enjoys being where the work happens -walking the site, solving problems in real time, leading teams, holding partners accountable, and seeing a project progress from plans on paper to a fully operational renewable energy asset. What You'll DoLead Construction in the Field Serve as the primary on-site representative for construction activities.Partner with engineers, designers, contractors, and stakeholders to translate project plans into successful execution.Develop and manage construction schedules, milestones, resources, and deliverables.Monitor progress and proactively adjust plans to keep projects moving forward. Lead People & Partners Direct and coordinate on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and company personnel.Establish clear expectations, assign responsibilities, and promote a culture of accountability.Build strong working relationships across contractors, project teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.Keep teams aligned, informed, and focused on delivering a successful project. Champion Safety Make safety a daily priority across the project site.Ensure construction activities comply with applicable regulations, codes, company standards, and safety requirements.Conduct safety meetings and inspections, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions.Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to established safety protocols. Own Quality Monitor construction activities against approved designs, specifications, and industry standards.Conduct regular quality reviews and inspections through contractor QC teams.Identify deficiencies and non-conformances, document them in Procore, and escalate issues when necessary.Help ensure the finished project meets the standards expected of a best-in-class renewable energy asset. Manage Resources & Costs Coordinate construction materials, equipment, tools, and other site resources.Optimize resources while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule expectations.Monitor project expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.Support project changes and recommendations when conditions in the field require a different approach. Communicate & Solve Problems Provide regular QA/QC and project updates to leadership, stakeholders, and clients.Document project activities, changes, challenges, and resolutions.Identify potential issues before they become costly delays.Work collaboratively to develop practical solutions and keep projects moving. What You Bring 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably with renewable energy, solar, utility-scale infrastructure, or a similar large-scale construction environment.Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline—or equivalent relevant experience.Willingness and ability to work 100% on-site at project locations throughout the Tennessee Valley region.Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety requirements, quality standards, and field operations.Current OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and USACE Construction Quality Control Management certifications, or the ability to obtain them within 30 days of joining.Experience with Procore and Microsoft Office; familiarity with USACE RMS CM and EM 385-1-1 is highly valued.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving construction environment.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right—not simply getting the job done.The ability to manage competing priorities, navigate changing project conditions, and maintain momentum under pressure.
