Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Contracts & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, supplier management, and contract administration activities supporting its growing nuclear business. This is a critical strategic hire for the organization as they continue to expand into larger, more complex projects and strengthen their supply chain capabilities.

Reporting to senior leadership, this individual will be responsible for developing supplier strategies, managing commercial and contractual risk, negotiating agreements, overseeing procurement activities, and leading a growing team. The role offers a unique opportunity to establish best practices, influence key business decisions, and help build the infrastructure needed to support the company's next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in contracts, procurement, and supply chain management within the nuclear industry or another highly regulated environment, paired with a desire to step into a highly visible leadership role where they can drive meaningful change.

 

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Lead contract reviews, negotiations, and commercial discussions with customers and suppliers.
  • Manage procurement activities including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchase orders.
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships and address supply chain challenges.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support project execution.
  • Oversee long-lead items, supplier performance, and contract risk mitigation.
  • Lead and develop a growing team while driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.

 

Must Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, contracts, supply chain, or sourcing.
  • Nuclear industry experience or experience in another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management background.
  • Experience building vendor relationships and managing supply chain strategy.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with commercial and operational teams.
  • Experience with ERP/procurement systems.

 

Nice to Have

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Existing knowledge of nuclear suppliers and industry networks.
  • Familiarity with NQA-1, NRC requirements, supplier qualification, and quality compliance.
  • Background supporting utilities, power generation, defense, or energy organizations.
  • Experience with process improvement, CRM enhancements, automation, or AI initiatives.

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager to join a growing EV charging business and take ownership of new business development across Germany.This is a true hunter role, focused on identifying, developing and converting new commercial opportunities. A key part of the role will be leveraging an existing network of EV charging installers, electrical contractors, infrastructure providers and other key industry stakeholders to build a strong and consistent sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will already have a well-established network within the German EV charging installation market and be confident using those relationships to open doors, generate opportunities and win new business. They are looking to bring on a senior construction project manager into their UK team who will be overseeing utility scale solar and BESS projects from pre-construction all the way through to operation stages.
