Piper Maddox is partnering with a leading renewable energy IPP to help them find a Director of Origination. With a strong pipeline of close to two gigawatts in development and a rapidly expanding portfolio of operational assets, this company is making a significant impact in the clean energy space.

As Director of Origination, you will work cross-functionally to identify, negotiate, and execute new renewable energy opportunities. Your focus will be on expanding beyond greenfield community solar, engaging in RFPs, corporate and industrial partnerships, M&A, and energy storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key energy buyers, including utilities and corporate entities.
  • Identify and structure distributed generation investment opportunities, including C&I solar, standalone storage, and channel partnerships.
  • Lead negotiations for PPAs, Virtual PPAs, tolling agreements, and other off-take contracts.

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of sales experience, with a strong track record in renewable energy origination.
  • Deep understanding of energy markets and experience in structuring profitable contracts.

Director Chemical Engineering

Piper Maddox has been engaged by a leading business in the carbon capture and low-carbon fuels development space that is seeking a high-caliber engineering leader to help drive their next major phase of technical, project, and commercial growth. This role is an incredible opportunity to work on cutting-edge carbon capture initiatives, drive innovation in emerging technologies, and make a tangible impact on reducing CO₂ emissions in a high-growth startup environment. Key Responsibilities:Conceive and develop new solutions in DAC/CCS, challenging conventional approaches.Model and design equipment to optimize adsorption kinetics at laboratory, pilot, and industrial scales.Plan and execute experimental tests to validate process models and assess new solvents and contactor designs.Oversee the complete design cycle, including prototyping and pilot-scale implementation.Conduct rigorous mass and energy balance calculations, equipment sizing, and process optimization.Perform process simulations using tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or gPROMS to compare design alternatives.Develop and refine PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
