A fast-growing, mission-driven renewable energy company backed by a global infrastructure investor is looking to hire a Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across the U.S. This is a high-impact role with visibility across engineering, procurement, and executive leadership.
You'll play a critical part in the successful build-out of 250MW+ utility-scale projects overseeing EPC partners, managing timelines, mitigating risk, and ensuring on-budget delivery from NTP through COD.

Lead utility-scale solar and BESS projects from notice-to-proceed through commissioning and closeout.
Serve as the main interface between EPC contractors, internal engineering teams, consultants, and suppliers.
Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules (Primavera/MS Project), budgets, and progress reports.
Oversee QA/QC, safety compliance, and project documentation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate permitting, interconnection, and commissioning milestones with AHJs, utilities, and stakeholders.
Support EPC contract execution, change order management, and vendor coordination.
Travel to construction sites as needed to ensure construction progress and resolve field-level issues.
7+ years of experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a strong preference for solar and BESS.
Proven track record delivering projects in the 100MW+ range.
Deep understanding of EPC project delivery, budget control, scheduling, and contract administration.
Experience with self-perform and subcontractor execution models.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Proficiency with project management tools (Primavera, Procore, MS Project, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
PMP is essential.
