Location: Remote (preference for candidates located near key U.S. markets)

The Opportunity
This role will focus on the origination and development of battery energy storage projects across the U.S. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects from early-stage through pre-construction, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to bring high-quality storage projects to market. Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and advance battery storage opportunities in target markets.

  • Lead all aspects of project development, including site acquisition, permitting, environmental review, and interconnection.

  • Interface with landowners, utilities, regulators, and community stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with finance teams on project modeling, economics, and deal structuring.

  • Monitor storage market trends, incentive programs, and policy changes to inform strategy.

  • Support the transition of projects to construction and asset management.

Candidate Profile

  • 3-7 years of renewable energy or storage project development experience.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. energy markets, interconnection processes, and permitting.

  • Demonstrated success advancing projects from origination through late-stage development.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental studies, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
