Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-ahead and real-time trading strategies for BESS assets within ERCOT and other relevant markets
  • Optimize charging and discharging schedules to maximize revenue across energy, ancillary services, and capacity markets
  • Monitor trading positions, P&L, and exposure to market risks
  • Ensure compliance with ERCOT market rules, FERC regulations, and internal risk policies
  • Conduct fundamental and quantitative analysis of power markets, demand/supply trends, and policy changes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in energy trading, asset optimization, or related roles (experiences in ERCOT preferred)
  • Direct experience with BESS trading and operation is required
  • Strong understanding of wholesale power markets, including day-ahead and real-time operations

The Role:As a Senior Project Manager and Seller/Doer, you will play a critical role in expanding the firm's transmission portfolio.
