Site Manager – Utility-Scale Solar
Location: Nottinghamshire (On-site, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays)
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + Accommodation + Food Allowance

 

Piper Maddox is partnering exclusively with a global, market-leading EPC as they expand their project delivery team across the UK. With a strong pipeline of utility-scale solar projects nationwide, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager who can take ownership of site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Development Manager - Solar and BESS Projects (12 month Initial FTC)Remote Working Setup with Periodic Team Meetings & Site VisitsSalary Dependent on Experience: Up to £65,000 + wider benefits package Piper Maddox are collaborating with a leading name in the UK renewable energy industry on the growth of their project development team. This company has been a mainstay in the space for over a decade and have built up a highly successful team covering the full project lifecycle from inception, all the way through to the operation of utility solar and battery storage projects. This company have over 1.5GW worth of projects in active development, and have also recently added to this pipeline with multiple successful M&A transactions. Amidst all the changes in the grid situation this year, our client has a number of protected connection dates and alongside their excellent funding, are a very stable option in the sector going forward. Our client are looking to hire a Development Manager into their existing development function who would be responsible for the overall progression of their projects through the development process across the key elements of land, planning, and grid connection. The role is slightly more focused on the land piece, but experience across all fronts would be beneficial. In this role you would be contributing to: > The land transaction in it's later stages including the option to lease agreement, and being an IPP, this company would also require you to work on wayleaves and easements. > Supporting on the management of the planning & consents process including representation at public consultation events and managing external planning consultants. > Overall management of the project development including budgets, timelines, and stakeholder engagement. This company are able to develop projects in the traditional greenfield manner, but also have a great track record in brownfield renewable energy development so you would have scope for broadening your experience across the sector. Crucially, being an IPP, this company have a demonstrable track record in delivering their projects into construction and operation so you can rest assured you would see your projects come to fruition.
