The position offers strong technical influence, close collaboration with DNOs/IDNOs, and the opportunity to mentor and develop junior engineers as the team scales.Key responsibilities Develop and own protection and control concepts for HV export schemes.Ensure compliance with G99, DNO and IDNO adoption requirements.Lead and maintain internal protection design standards and best practice.Provide technical support during installation, testing, and energisation.Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders.Review, optimise, and approve protection designs for compliance and efficiency.
