The organization emphasizes collaboration, impact, and long-term partnerships with stakeholders in the energy transition.Job Summary:The company is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development / Origination professional to help expand its utility-scale renewable energy portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial instincts, experience negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs), and the ability to build and maintain relationships with utilities, offtakers, and development partners. This is a high-impact role with a clear path for growth and ownership.Key Responsibilities:Identify and originate renewable energy project opportunities (solar, storage, wind)Build and maintain relationships with utilities, offtakers, and key market participantsRepresent the company at meetings, conferences, and industry eventsLead commercial structuring, pricing, and contract negotiations for PPAs and other offtake agreementsCollaborate across internal teams including development, legal, interconnection, and financeMonitor market trends and regulatory developments to inform origination strategyContribute to proposal development, RFP responses, and pitch materialsServe as a primary point of contact in external commercial discussionsQualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy origination, business development, or utility engagementStrong understanding of utility-scale project development and PPA executionProven ability to work independently and drive deals forwardExperience with solar, wind, and/or energy storage projects preferredExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skillsPrior experience at a renewable energy developer and utility is a plusBenefits:Flexible paid time off401(k) planPerformance-based bonuses or profit-sharingFully remote team with national project reachCollaborative work environment with exposure to industry-leading partnersOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of clean energy
