We've partnered with a leading independent power generator with operations across 10 countries on their search for a crucial addition to their engineering team. They established the company in Spain, and have grown significantly with over 4GW in development here. Their next growth area is Italy, with this role beginning this growth.

The group is multi-faceted, working across development stages, operational assets and Power to X work also. Their development offering is strong, with a pipeline of over 10GW globally. They also cover multiple technologies including solar PV, onshore wind ad BESS projects. Additionally, the group manages 7.5GW of assets globally, providing maintenance services and integration of these assets.

The role:
This position is a key role for the company. The position will be leading the PV Engineering team, throughout the EPC phase. Your role will be tailored around ensuring the tendering phase is successful through the documentations and reviews of materials.
The main responsibilities include:
- Optimising PV designs including system sizing, module layouts and electrical configurations
- Working with local authorities for project development.
- Yield analysis and simulations.
- Oversee the installation phases and technical specifications.
- Compliance with local authorities and preparing relevant documentations and detailed designs.


A background in utility scale PV, electrical engineer and knowledge of Italian projects is essential for this position.

What You Bring:7+ years of experience steering utility-scale or distributed generation solar projects through the development lifecycle.A working knowledge of energy storage integration and its role in enhancing solar asset performance.Proven ability to lead complex projects across land, permitting, interconnection, and commercial structuring milestones.Prior involvement in due diligence and documentation for M&A or project acquisition deals.Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.A bias for action, an eye for detail, and a passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.Bachelor's degree in business, energy, engineering, or related discipline (advanced degree a plus).
