Piper Maddox have recently partnered with a leading Renewable Energy consulting firm operating across the US.

Together, we are searching for a Senior Substation Engineer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

This organization have been operating for close to 20 years. Over the past few years they have been focused within the Renewable Energy space and are currently working on a handful of projects with a combined total of roughly 500MW.

Due to this success, they are looking to add additional members to their Substation Engineering Team.

In this role you will be responsible for a number of things including:

  • Working closely with the local utilities to complete all interconnection applications.
  • Working on Substation design.
  • Completing PV Design tasks.

The ideal candidate will have a background similar to the below:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working on Interconnection / Substation projects for utilities.
  • Medium / High Voltage projects experience (5KV- 345KV)
  • A background with Interconnection applications, specifically for the Utilities space.
  • Experience working on 1 Lines and the subsequent paperwork that is required for the utilities.
  • Experience on Substation design projects.
