Piper Maddox is working with one of Europe's largest generators of renewable energy that has an established presence in United States commodity markets. They are looking to add an Environmental Products Quantitative Analyst to their team in San Francisco! Experience in energy related field is not required.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement analytical tools to monitor environmental product portfolios, enabling real-time insights into positions, pricing, and performance metrics
  • Work with Portfolio Managers and Origination team to build scalable, user friendly solutions to support trade decision
  • Build data pipelines for real-time risk analytics and PnL tracking
  • Contribute to the evolution of internal platforms by identifying opportunities for automation, performance optimization, and enhanced trader experience

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in quantitative focused role
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in computer science, statistics, math, engineering, or quantitative field
  • Proficiency in coding, Python preferred
  • Experience building tools from the ground up, from database design to front-end development
  • Experience in collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
