Job DescriptionThe accounting team is seeking a Senior Accountant — Technical Accounting. Reporting to the Senior Technical Accounting Manager, this role requires understanding of a variety of general accounting topics under U.S. GAAP, such as debt (ASC 470) and PP&E (ASC 360), and exposure to those common in the renewables space, such as variable interest entities and consolidations (ASC 810), debt (ASC 470), and revenue recognition under the commodity contract framework (ASC 842, ASC 815, and ASC 606) and analogous topics under IFRS. Responsibilities: Assist with research and documentation on accounting for non-routine, complex transactions under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS, including preparation of technical memos.
