Having rapidly expanded its portfolio past 1.5 GW, the company is scaling its finance group to support both core operational accounting and active M&A transactions.Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, this role oversees financial operations across the asset portfolio while working closely with plant management, executive leadership, and M&A teams to execute project integrations and technical accounting oversight. Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Reporting: Manage daily accounting workflows, monthly and quarterly close cycles, general ledger reconciliations, and consolidated GAAP financial statements across all operating entities. Renewable Asset Accounting: Oversee sector-specific accounting functions, including tax equity models, HLBV updates, RECs, capacity payments, and project-level operating costs. M&A & Deal Integration: Partner with finance and M&A teams on accounting due diligence, technical research (ASC 842, revenue recognition), and financial integration for newly acquired assets. Audit & Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, lead annual audit processes, and oversee tax compliance coordination. Qualifications Experience: 7 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 to 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
