Property Manager - Renewable Energy
Central Scotland Office - 2/3 days per week in office hybrid working pattern
Salary Range DOE: £50,000 - 60,000
Piper Maddox are exclusively supporting a leading name in the UK renewable energy sector with some exciting growth plans - including a new addition to their team in the shape of a Property Manager.
Our client are a fully fledged IPP covering the development, construction, and operation of large scale Onshore Wind projects. They currently have multiple assets under operational management so have a demonstrable track record of success in the full project lifecycle.
This company were established over 20 years ago, so are a very stable organization with a strong portfolio of projects at different stages of development. Within their portfolio, they are also looking at different renewable technologies to diversify in the future.
They have a very strong company culture in terms of a highly collaborative environment. The team have a great reputation for pulling in the same direction, which has created an atmosphere off togetherness.
The Property Manager role would sit in their Land team, reporting to their Head of Land and would suit someone from a legal or commercial property background. Prior experience in the renewable energy sector is required, although the project technology can be varied.
In this role, you would be responsible for managing key commercial contracts within the land transaction and the development process, including:
> Heads of Terms
> Land Option & Lease Agreements
> Wayleaves, Easements, Servitudes
> Fulfilling obligations within the lease agreements
> Managing property registers and titles relevant to the project portfolio
> Due diligence on land & property considerations within potential project acquisitions
The outlined backgrounds in legal or commercial property are preferred due to this role being less involved in site origination/land acquisition, and more tailored to the commercial contracts needed to complete these transactions.
