Piper Maddox has partnered up with a leading company in the Renewable Natural Gas space, looking for an Commissioning Engineer to be responsible for their construction sites meeting specification and system start-up, stabilization, and turnover to operations for their projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of commissioning plans, performance acceptance tests, plant startup strategy, as well as handover from construction to operations team.
  • Overall site safety during project commissioning.
  • Responsible for integration support between contracting scopes.
  • Supporting construction, engineering, and operations team during pre-planning, execution, documentation, as well as handover.
  • Hands on responsibility during commissioning projects for gas upgrading units, solid separation units, as well as pumps, compressors, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of mechanical or process engineering experience or similar.
  • Background in RNG, Wastewater, Sewage, Environmental Services, Oil & Gas.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%.
  • Previous hands on commissioning responsibility for plant equipment.
  • Problem solving ability as well as technical troubleshooting.
  • Process experience as well as mechanical knowledge.
