Piper Maddox have recently partnered with an EV Charging Infrastructure organization that partner with a variety of customers including Commercial Properties, Retailers & Municipalities.

Together, we are searching for a number of Lead Electricians to join their team across the US. Positions range from Florida (Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami or Tampa) through to Georgia (Atlanta) and Texas (San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Houston).

This organization offer both Level 2 & Level 3 (DC Fast Charging) options, they cover the full project lifecycle which includes site design, site assessment, engineering, permitting and O&M services.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic equipment and fixtures used in the petroleum industry using hand tools and power tools.
  • Trouble-shoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using the appropriate testing equipment to find and correct the failure.
  • Use of ohm meter, volt meter, amp probe and megger is required
  • Install conduits, pull wire and make final connections to circuit breakers, petroleum pumps, dispensers, Point of Sale consoles, tank monitors and petroleum lighting.
  • Inspect electrical system and components to verify compliance with safety requirements, codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements. Verify proper operation of the electrical system.
  • Advise management, customers and fellow workmen when hazards are present and when electrical systems are safe to operate.
  • Assist estimator with material take-off, material cost and labor allowances.

Background

  • A minimum of 1 year experience, can go as high as experienced foreman. 
  • Experience working on EV installation projects would be highly valuable. 
  • Licensed in the relevant state. 
  • Strong knowledge of the various standards and codes.

Senior Asset Manager – BESSGermany – Remote An international renewable energy platform is looking for a Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of a growing portfolio of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets in Germany. The successful candidate will sit across the technical, regulatory and commercial sides of the business, working closely with internal development and investment teams as well as TSOs, DNOs, regulatory bodies, optimisers, OEMs and other external partners. They are currently growing operations, engineering, and science teams, and are looking for an Algae Production Lead that will help bring the technology online. This is a rare opportunity to help launch a new category in the multi-billion-dollar SAF and liquid-fuels markets from the ground up.
