With a proven track record of developing, funding and operating low carbon centres across the UK, this group is going from strength to strength. They have a flexible business model, focusing on innovative and unique business venture, pivoting to focus on emerging technologies.

This role will fall within their BESS unit. This arm of the group is unique, specialising in smaller, localised BESS projects. This is a strength for the group, avoiding long wait times for transmission level connections. The total value of this project exceeds hundreds of millions and is set to be pioneering in the industry. The group also owns and operated their assets once they have been built.

This role is a mid to junior role within the grid team. Due to this culture, it's one that you're set to progress through in no time, if you're up for the challenge.

The role:
The position will be varied, working across the full project lifecycle from early development stages into project delivery and reporting. You'd also be working alongside a leader in the space with a wealth of experience, meaning that your progression will be supported.

The main responsibilities will be:
- Preparing and submitting grid applications.
- Liaising with various DNOs and other external stakeholders.
- Working with technical experts for project designs and planning.
- Working closely with internal teams, including development, grid and engineering.
- Monitoring grid applications ensuring they are able to meet milestones and be compliant to regulations.

Your background:
Suitable candidates will have a strong understanding and knowledge of the UK grid network. They'll also have strong interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for the sector.

Service Proposals EngineerOverview: Seeking a Service Proposals Engineer to develop clear, accurate, and competitive service proposals that support customer needs and business growth.
