M&A Analyst / Investment Analyst | Renewable EnergyRome | Competitive salary + bonus + benefits The OpportunityWe are supporting a growing renewable energy platform in the search for an M&A Analyst / Investment Analyst to join their team in Italy. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with 2–4 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, transaction services, valuations, or project finance to step into a strategic role focused on the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestments across the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting transaction activity, financial analysis, market intelligence, and due diligence across a dynamic pipeline of opportunities in renewables. This role would suit someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a business operating at the forefront of the energy transition. Key Responsibilities Support the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestmentsBuild and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities, transaction feasibility, and strategic fitConduct valuation analysis and scenario modelling to support internal decision-makingPerform market research and industry analysis to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and strategic opportunities within the renewable energy marketPrepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for senior management, investment committees, and key stakeholdersCoordinate with cross-functional internal teams and external advisors throughout the due diligence processReview and analyse financial statements, contracts, project documentation, and commercial agreements to identify risks and opportunitiesSupport transaction processes by tracking milestones, managing data rooms, and maintaining M&A pipeline / deal tracking toolsContribute to strategic assessments across renewable energy technologies including solar PV, BESS, wind, and related infrastructure What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field2–4 years of professional experience in M&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuation, investment analysis, or project financePrior exposure to the renewable energy, infrastructure, or power sector is highly advantageous Why This Role?
